Karmic astrology says, most of the people are born in the same family lines with same friends and same enemies in so many of their lives until their Karmic debts, duties and rewards are all cleared from that particular group of people or group of Souls. So Pitra Dosha is a Karmic Debt of the ancestors which the person having Pitra Dosh in his horoscope is supposed to pay.

•    On any Somwati Amavasya (when the Amavasya falls on Monday), go to Pipal tree. Offer one janeu to the tree and second janeu to Lord Vishnu. Then do 108 Parikrama of tree. While doing Parikrama, chant the mantra Om Namo Bhaagvate Vaasudevaay and offer a sweet to the tree with each Parikrama. After finishing the Parikrama, again pray to the Pipal tree and Lord Vishnu and ask forgiveness.

•    Feed crows and fish with ricemixed with gee and made into balls on every Saturday.

•    One should take a vow to provide unconditional services to parents and elders. This helps in getting the grace of ancestors.

•    Good behavior and charity to needy persons is necessary. Good behavior to persons who are in our service is also necessary. Both of these are recommended for removing the "pitra dosha"

Vedic Astrology prescribes many remedies for all the problems from simple to complex and cheapest to costly. There are many ways available to nullify the effects of Pitru Dosh. Some of the ways are described below.
It is believed that satisfying our ancestors and forefathers, we can have their blessings for peaceful and happy life. For the peace of the souls of our ancestors it is advices to perform SHRADDH.
Shraddh is the ritual and ceremony performed for the departed souls of our ancestors. According to ancient texts, the Shraddh is performed during dark fortnight (Krishna Paksh) in the month of Ashwin  which reaches to the ancestors immediately and their souls will rest in peace. On the last day of the fortnight, Amavasya oblations are offered to all those dead ancestors whose Tithi ( Date according to Hindu Calendar) of dead is not known.
Hindu Purans are full of details about Shraddh, especially Bramha Puran, Garud Puran, Agni Puran and Matsya Puran. Lord Yama himself explained the importance of Shraddh performed during Pitru Paksh. All the sinful deeds committed by the ancestors are cleansed by the Shraddh, and all the ancestors bless those performing the Shraddh rituals.
The customs and the rituals performed during Pitru Paksh vary regionally. Some people fast on that day, and some do not shave for the fortnight. Some performs Puja and some offer food to the crows. According to Hindu mythology, crows represents forefathers, therefore crows are offered food in these days. On each day of the fortnight oblations of water and PINDs or balls of rice and meal are offered to the dead relatives by the surviving relatives. This process is also called PIND DAAN.
Pind Daan is generally done in the Pitru Kshetra ( Area ). According to Puran Pitru kshetra have been divided into five parts out of these Bodhigaya as Shira kshetra, Vaitarni as Nabhi kshetra, Pithapur as padaar kshetra, Siddhpur as Matru  kshetra and Badrinath as Brahma-kapali kshetra. Thus, all these five-pitru tirtha are various organs of one body.
Bodhigaya Kshetra is very famous, ancient and holy pilgrim for dedicating Pind Daan for ancestors and forefathers. That is situated on the bank of Falgu river in Bihar state.
Nabhigaya Kshetra is situated at Jajpur village on the bank of Vaitarni river in Orissa state. It is also known as Nabhi Kshetra. Vaitarni river is famous in Puran wherein it is mentioned that after death one has to cross Vaitarni river and the person who have perform good deeds during his life time can only cross the river very easily. But by performing Pitru Tarpan Puja here, one can make his forefather cross this river.
Padgaya Kshetra is situated at Pithapur at Tamil Nadu state on the Madra-valter railway line. It is situated near Raj Mahendri station.
Siddhpur is known as Matru Gaya Kshetra is situated in Mahesana district of Gujarat state. Bhagavan Parshuram performed Pind Daan of his mother in Siddhpur. On the bank of Bindu Sarovar, Pind Daan and Shraddh ceremony are performed.
Performing Shraddh is also considered as the offering of our respect and gratitude towards our ancestors. Many times performing only Shraddh is not sufficient enough to remove the Pitru Dosh. Special rituals and puja has to be performed in order to remove the evil effects of Pitru Dosh.
What are the recommended remedies for Pitru Dosh?

Remedy 1
The most widely accepted special ritual or puja for Pitru Dosh is NARAYAN BALI PUJA. This puja is performed only at few prescribed places such as
(1) Tryambakeshwar in Nasik,
(2) Chandod near Dabhoi near Vadodara in Gujarat,
(3) Kala Hasti in Tamil Nadu and
(4) Near Holy Ganga in Haridwar.
(5) Pichash Mochan and Near Holy Ganga in Varanasi
It is very important to note that the puja have to be performed at the mentioned places.

Remedy 2
Another remedy for Pitru Dosh is given below. This Puja can remove all kinds of Pitru Dosh. On any Somwati Amavasya, when the Amavasya is falling on Monday, go to Pipal tree. Offer one Yagyopavit to the tree and second Yagyopavit to Lord Vishnu. Then do 108 Parikrama ( move in circles around ) of tree. While doing Parikrama, chant the mantra Om Namo Bhaagvate Vaasudevaay and offer a sweet to the tree with each Parikrama. After finishing the Parikrama, again pray to the Pipal tree and Lord Vishnu and ask forgiveness

Remedy 3
One Rudraksh is required. This puja is done only in Pitru Paksh. Put the Rudraksh in a plate. Start chanting Om Namah Shivay mantra for 108 times while continuously looking at the Rudraksh. Perform this process for all the 14 days of Pitru Paksh. On the Sarva Pitru Amavasya, wear the Rudraksh around the neck using black thread. This will get rid of Pitru Dosh.

Remedy 4
To get blessings of all Pitrus, this method is extremely useful. Take a brand new Rudraksh Mala to perform this puja. Do not use a mala which was used to chant other mantras. Chant the following mantra for 11 malas daily during the Pitru Paksh.
OM SARVA PITRU PRAM PRASANNA BHAVA OM

Remedy 5
Every Saturday, make rice balls by mixing cooked rice and ghee. Feed these rice balls to crows and fish.

Remedy 6
Unconditional services to parents, old-age needy persons, sweeper and poor people are recommended. The person should try not to get angry in this life and try not to engage in any kind of quarrels in his lifetime.

Remedy 7
Worshipping Lord Vishnu, especially the form of Sri Ram, is also advised for Pitru Dosh Nivaran. Person can also worship Lord Vishnu with the main mantra OMNAMO NARAYANAAY.

Remedy 8
Try to feed 10 Thousand, One Thousand or Hundred Brahmins, as one can afford.

Remedy 9
Perform Kanya Daan (perform the marriage of a girl), if possible for a Brahmin Kanya.

Remedy 10
Help other people who are performing Shraddh Karma

Remedy 11
Perform Rudrabhishek ( Rudra Abhishek ) in the name of the KUL or ancestors..

Remedy 12
Donate Gold Cow to a Brahmin, with the Sankalp stating that this is for the ancestors.

सुख-समृद्धि का टोटका - गणपति गुरू गणेश।

एक तांबे की लुटिया लें ढक्कन सहित और उसमें चांदी का सर्प-सर्पिनी का जोड़ा, चांदी का एक छोटा सा पतरा, पूजा के उपयोग में आने वाली सात सुपारियां, हल्दी की सात  साबूत और साफ गांठ डाल लें। अब इस लोटे को पानी से भर लें और इसका ढक्कन अच्छी तरह से बंद कर दें। अब यह लुटिया मुख्य द्वार के पश्चिम की ओर दबा दें। इस टोटके से धन आगमन के द्वार खुल जाएंगे और आपके घर में फिर से सुख-समृद्धि का वास होगा।


जब जीवन में हर तरफ दुख हो, संकट हो और निकलने का कोई मार्ग न दिखे तो गौरीपुत्र गजानन की आराधना तुरंत फल देती है। भगवान गणेश की सात्विक साधनाएं अत्यंत सरल तथा प्रभावी होती है। इनमें अधिक विधि-विधान की भी जरूरत नहीं होती केवल मन में भाव होने मात्र से ही गणेश अपने भक्त को हर संकट से बाहर निकालते हैं और सुख-समृदि्ध का मार्ग दिखाते हैं।

गणेश गायत्री मंत्र

ॐ एकदन्ताय विद्महे वक्रतुंडाय धीमहि तन्नो बुदि्ध प्रचोदयात।।

यह गणेश गायत्री मंत्र है। इस मंत्र का प्रतिदिन शांत मन से 108 बार जप करने से गणेशजी की कृपा होती है। लगातार 11 दिन तक गणेश गायत्री मंत्र के जप से व्यक्ति के पूर्व कर्मो का बुरा फल खत्म होने लगता है और भाग्य उसके साथ हो जाता है।

तांत्रिक गणेश मंत्र

ॐ ग्लौम गौरी पुत्र, वक्रतुंड, गणपति गुरू गणेश।
ग्लौम गणपति, ऋदि्ध पति, सिदि्ध पति। मेरे कर दूर क्लेश।।

यूं तो यह एक तांत्रिक मंत्र है जिसकी साधना में कुछ खास चीजों का ध्यान रखना पड़ता है। परन्तु रोज सुबह महादेवजी, पार्वतीजी तथा गणेशजी की पूजा करने के बाद इस मंत्र का 108 बार जाप करने व्यक्ति के समस्त सुख-दुख तुरंत खत्म होते हैं। लेकिन इस मंत्र के प्रयोग के समय व्यक्ति को पूर्ण सात्विकता रखनी होती है और क्रोध, मांस, मदिरा, परस्त्री से संबंधों से दूर रहना होता है।

गणेश कुबेर मंत्र

ॐ नमो गणपतये कुबेर येकद्रिको फट् स्वाहा।

यदि व्यक्ति पर अत्यन्त भारी कर्जा हो जाए, आर्थिक परेशानियां आए-दिन दुखी करने लगे। तब गणेशजी की पूजा करने के बाद गणेश कुबेर मंत्र का नियमित रूप से जाप क रने से व्यक्ति का कर्जा चुकना शुरू हो जाता है तथा धन के नए स्त्रोत प्राप्त होते हैं जिनसे व्यक्ति का भाग्य चमक उठता है। -
